Who we are
Rethink Learning is a tutoring practice operating from 29 Thomas St, Wallsend NSW 2287. For any privacy question, contact admin@rethinklearning.com.au.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry or book a consultation, we collect the name and contact details you provide, the student’s year level, and whatever you choose to tell us about their learning needs.
Once a student enrols, we also hold assessment results, samples of their work, session notes and progress reports. Some of this is information about a child under 18, provided by a parent or guardian.
How we use it
We use this information to respond to enquiries, run the initial consultation, plan and deliver sessions, and report on progress. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who else can see it
We use third-party services to run the practice: Google Workspace for email, documents and the booking calendar, and our website host for form submissions. These providers process information on our behalf. Analytics on this site are aggregate only and do not identify individual visitors.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to enrolment are deleted within twelve months. Student records are kept while the student is enrolled and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted on request.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you or your child, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email admin@rethinklearning.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable time.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a privacy matter, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Embedded third-party content — the booking calendar and the Essay Feedback Tool — is provided by Google and by the tool’s host respectively, and those services may set their own cookies when you interact with them.
