Terms of service

Draft pending review. These terms restate the session and cancellation policies already published on the pricing page. Please review before relying on them.
Sessions
One-to-one sessions run for 50 minutes. Rates are published on the pricing page and are inclusive of GST.
Rescheduling
We require at least one week’s notice to reschedule a session for school camps, holidays or similar commitments.
Illness and makeup sessions
Please notify your tutor at least 24 hours in advance where possible. Sessions cancelled at short notice due to illness are still charged, but one makeup session per term is offered. Additional missed sessions are charged at the normal rate.
Late arrivals and no-shows
Tutors wait up to 30 minutes for a late student, after which the session is considered complete and charged in full. A session missed without notice is charged at the standard rate with no makeup offered.
Online sessions
If a student cannot attend in person, the session can be moved to Google Meet rather than cancelled.
Unenrolling
We require three weeks’ notice in writing to unenrol, so the place can be offered to another student on the waiting list.
The Essay Feedback Tool
The Essay Feedback Tool generates feedback automatically. It is a study aid and is not a substitute for a teacher’s judgement or a school assessment mark.
